Who we are, what we do, and what we are building — set out plainly for the engineers, buyers and vendor auditors who need to know before they specify us.
Who we are, what we do, and what we are building.
An authorised supplier who also operates the paint nozzle.
Geeta Surface Coatings Pvt Ltd is a professionally managed organisation with technically sound personnel and a proven track record spanning over 12 years. We are an authorised dealer and stockist for AkzoNobel International (JSW Dulux) and Hempel protective coatings, and a newly appointed authorised dealer for FOSROC construction chemicals, applying what we supply through 1,50,000 SQM of in-house coating capacity a year.
We supply premium protective, epoxy, PU and specialty coatings ex-stock, and have executed projects across India and internationally in Uganda, the Philippines and Sierra Leone. Our factory near Chakan carries the blasting booths, paint shops, handling equipment and calibrated inspection instruments to run large jobs entirely in-house.
Five lines of business, one accountable partner.
We sit on both sides of the coating: the authorised channel that supplies the genuine system, and the applicator that puts it on to specification. That removes the usual gap between the paint supplier and the painter — when a coating fails, there is only one company to answer for it, and it is the same one that specified, supplied and applied it.
Work runs either through our Chakan shop or as a site mobilisation, backed by in-house certified inspection.
Why the company exists.
Mission statement · Geeta Surface Coatings Pvt Ltd
Where we are taking it.
To be the coatings partner that India's engineering exporters can specify without a second thought — the name a fabricator writes into a bid because the supply, the application and the proof all come from one accountable source.
We are building that in a deliberate order: deeper ex-stock strength behind our principals so a job never waits on material; more capacity under our own roof at Chakan so complex work stays under controlled conditions instead of being subcontracted out; inspection discipline that holds up when a client's auditor walks the shop unannounced; and a workforce trained to apply the last coat exactly as carefully as the first.
Corrosion does not negotiate and it does not wait. A coating either lasts in service or it does not — so we would rather be judged on assets still standing years after handover than on the size of the order book. Growth, for us, is the consequence of protection that lasts, not the target we chase ahead of it.
Owner-operated leadership, and who is accountable for what.
Geeta Surface Coatings Pvt Ltd is director-led and owner-operated. Technical decisions, commercial terms and site escalations are handled by the people whose names are on the company. Each looks after a defined part of the business, and each can be reached directly.
I have spent most of my working life in front of customers. Price is always part of that conversation, and it should be — every buyer has a number to hit. But the accounts that come back year after year are rarely the ones won on rate alone. They are the ones where the product supplied was genuine and of the quality we promised, and where the relationship outlasted the order. Those are built slowly, over repeat jobs, and they are kept by staying reachable long after the invoice is settled.
Everything the company promises is settled on the shop floor. The works runs to a plan I set each day — crews, sequencing, what goes into which booth and when it comes out — and the technical call is mine as well: blast profile, film thickness and cure are settled before they are anyone else's concern. Premium quality work is not an occasional effort here, it is the only standard we release against. We would sooner hold a job back a day than let it leave under-specification. The asset stays in service for years; a shortcut would not.
A coatings business runs on two things a customer never sees: material paid for on time, and crews who are trained, safe and paid. Hiring, records, statutory compliance and the day-to-day administration of the staff sit with me, along with the accounts. Kept steady, the shop floor is never asked to compromise a specification because of a shortage — and a schedule we commit to is a schedule we hold.
Enquiries, specifications and vendor registrations come through me day to day, and a customer should not have to wait on an answer — if a question comes up on site, I would rather take the call than have it sit until next week. The rest is knowing an account well enough to recommend the system it actually needs, supplying products of a quality we can stand behind, and staying with the job through delivery and after it. Most problems on a coating job are decided long before anyone opens a tin.
